Product Description

201 Nickel Sheet – Low-Carbon Pure Nickel Alloy for High-Temperature Corrosion-Resistant Applications

TSM Technology produces high quality 201 Nickel Sheet with ≥99.0% nickel and a maximum of 0.02% carbon. We have 8 manufacturing lines with 100+ precision equipment, capacity of 60,000㎡, thicknesses from 0.5 to 50 mm in ASTM B162 and ASME SB162 specifications. Our product has a density of 8.89 g/cm3 and a tensile strength of 403 MPa. Intergranular embrittlement between 315-650°C is avoided. We are ISO 9001, AS9100D and EN 9120:2018 certified and provide to the aerospace, chemical and electronics sectors world-wide with comprehensive MTC and SGS reports.

What is 201 Nickel Sheet?

201 Nickel Sheet is a wrought nickel alloy that has minimal carbon and is commercially pure with minimum nickel content of 99.0%. Controlled carbon concentration (≤0.02%) avoids graphite precipitation after heat exposure, guaranteeing ductility in caustic alkali and high purity processing conditions. It provides better electrical conductivity and resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

Standards for 201 Nickel Sheet

Our product conforms to ASTM B162, ASME SB162, and EN 10095. Each lot undergoes chemical composition analysis (ICP, OES), mechanical testing (tensile, hardness, bend), NDT (UT, PT), dimensional inspection, and visual surface checks per industry protocols.

What are the Features of 201 Nickel Sheet?

· Low-carbon formulation prevents embrittlement at 315–650°C

· High purity (≥99.0% Ni) ensures minimal contamination

· Excellent caustic resistance in NaOH and KOH solutions

· Superior thermal and electrical conductivity

· Good magnetostrictive properties for sensor applications

Application

201 Nickel Sheet is used for chemical processing vessels, caustic evaporators, chlorine production equipment, aircraft thermal shields, electronics substrates and food grade machinery. Your projects will benefit from its stability in decreasing atmospheres and stringent purity standards.

Production and Processing Technology

TSM’s three plants are integrated with vacuum induction melting, hot forging, precision cold rolling and continuous annealing. Our 100+ CNC machines have a thickness tolerance of ±0.05 mm. The sheets are tension relieved in controlled atmospheres after rolling and then sand blasted or anodized. AS9100D Certified Processes Traceability from source material to final delivery.
